Spanning over 30 years, including 15 albums, of which five have debuted at number one on the Billboard charts, and covering a period where Lars Ulrich was the most hated man in Rock and Roll; Metallica isn’t just a band that shaped the Heavy Metal Scene through the late 80’s and early 90’s they’re now true legends of music.

This rich history in Rock’n’Roll history means their entry into Google Play is cause for much excitement. For those of you with Google Play Music All Access, the entire Metallica catalogue is now available to stream, and for those who still love to buy albums individually, you can now buy their albums.

If you’re a fan of heavy, Google Play now even heavier; head over to the Metallica Artist page to get your fix of Metal at your leisure, everything from their 1983 debut album Kill ’em All to their 2013 live tracks on Metallica: Through the Never is available so there’s no excuses.

    Their albums are up on Google Play and you can buy individual tracks from those, but so far, no trace of their CD singles.
