G4-Brown-Black-Standing-Edit

From today, you can pre-order an LG G4 through a number of retail channels, and to celebrate the availability of the new flagship handset, LG (and its partners) have announced a number of exclusive offers for early customers.

First up is the exclusive with Optus, which we wrote about last night; the first 100 customers to pre-order the LG G4 from Optus from today on will receive an LG Watch Urbane, valued at $479. Pre-order is only open until 6 July 2015, and the first 100 pre-orders definitely won’t take long to happen .. so don’t miss out! You can pre-order here.

Not to miss out on the action, Telstra are offering an exclusive too, but it doesn’t start until the 6th. The first 300 customers to pre-order from the 6th will receive a bonus LG MusicFlow P7 Bluetooth Speaker, valued at $189, allowing you to stream music wirelessly from your new G4 to the speaker at home, work, or in the outdoors. Pre-orders will be open for a week, and you can place yours here (when the site opens in a few days).

Last, but by no means least, is Harvey Norman, announcing pre-orders opening today for outright purchase. Those pre-ordering will receive a bonus 64GB Micro SD card, valued at $59. It might not be as generous a bonus as offered by Telstra or Optus, but it’s good in another way — it gives us a very, very reliable indication of the G4’s outright pricing; $877 for the plastic back, and $928 for the brown leather back (as depicted above).

Of course, while you’re thinking about pre-ordering the LG G4, you might want to turn your mind to accessories; we’ve got a whole bunch of them available on the Ausdroid Shop, which you can check out below. I’ve personally used the Aerios Tempered Glass screen protector and Orzly Fusion Bumper on the G4, and they both fit wonderfully and provide extra protection for your new precious.

That Optus deal is a bewdy! I like seeing expensive phones come with some worthwhile accessories. My preordered S6 came with some nice Level On on ear headphones.

I scored myself an LG Urbane with the Optus pre-order, the page was down until about 9:05am due to a script error but went through fine after that. The 100 had not been exhausted by 10:30am, not sure if they are all gone now

Hmm, might have been nice, but I’ve had my Galaxy S6 for a month already. July is getting to close to a new Moto X (plus six months before it gets released here) and Nexus rumours and a whole lot of USB type c connector phones etc, etc. Should have released here at least one month before now, while they were still ahead of the impending competition.

I’ve got an after market metal bumper I can confirm that it impairs cellular signal, unsurprisingly
