At this stage of the year we are talking a lot about the Samsung Galaxy S10 and it’s upcoming release but we often fail to miss an important note: there is nothing at all wrong with the Galaxy S9 which was released just nine months ago.

For those in the hunt for a new phone for Christmas Telstra are offering a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy S9, albeit online only. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is now available on the $69 per month plan which, for this deal, includes 10GB of bonus data bringing the monthly total to 30GB. The plan includes “no excess data charges with Peace of Mind Data” and unlimited calls and texts to standard Australian numbers.

Not only that but while stock lasts those who sign up will also receive a free Google Home Mini. Considering how many of those are around you would expect Telstra to have quite a bit of stock.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 is available with 64GB of onboard storage in Midnight Black, Sunrise Gold and Lilac Purple. If you are looking for a new phone this is certainly one to consider, especially with a deal such as this. If you are interested, check out our review from earlier this year, use the widget above and go and grab one now.

Last year the S8 was $59, although it only came with 15GB of downloads it was a better deal than this year`s S9

You actually get a free Google Home Mini with any Android on a 24-month plan at Telstra atm, at least at the one in my local shopping centre.
