Apparently there are not enough ways to order food so now Google have introduced the ability to pre-order your food from various cafes and restaurants.

From today within Google Maps and Search you will be able to order takeaway with “a few simple clicks” from various cafes and restaurants. The establishments who provide this service at the moment include Boost Juice, Chatime, Domino’s, Grill’d, Guzman y Gomez, Pizza Hut and many local cafes and restaurants via HeyYou.

Pizza Hut and participating Domino’s will also allow you to request home delivery through the same method. Obviously more restaurants will be added in the future but it could make an easy way to find something to eat.

To use the service you’ll need to be able to see “Order Takeaway”, “Pickup” or “Order Online” buttons in Google Maps and Search when you search for a certain restaurant or type of food. You can also easily and quickly just re-order your usual dish in even fewer clicks.

Keep any eye out for it from today and let us know what you think? Will you use it much?

Would be good to see these places highlighted in the app somehow so it’s easy to see where we can order from.
