After what has felt like a long break, today we have seen a new Australian financial institution add support for Google Pay, Revolut. Revolut is another in the increasing number of online-only card providers in Australia.

Revolut is not licenced for banking in Australia, meaning that you can’t have you salary or wages deposited into you account, and you don’t earn interest. What they do offer is a range of international transfer and exchange services that may be good for expats, or those who travel internationally … or at least used to travel.

Revolut offers a debit card in Australia to access the funds stored within your account, but you can now add this card to Google Pay. If you’re a Revolut customer simply open the Google Pay app and add a new card.
