Synology has unveiled the CC400W, a new wireless surveillance camera aimed at small businesses, home offices, and retailers looking for high-quality security with minimal installation hassle.
The CC400W delivers sharp 1440p video at 30 FPS with a wide 125° field of view and HDR support. A built-in 10-meter infrared LED delivers reliable night vision, while smart bitrate control and H.265 compression help optimise storage without sacrificing image clarity.
Designed for flexibility, the IP65-rated camera offers dual-band Wi-Fi and multiple mounting options—including wall, ceiling, flat surface, or magnetic attachment. Two-way audio allows direct communication through the camera, making it suitable for active monitoring environments.
The CC400W stands out for its AI-powered features like people and vehicle detection, intrusion detection, auto tracking, and instant search. When used with Synology’s DVA systems, it unlocks advanced tools like face and license plate recognition, as well as people counting.
Integration with Synology’s DS cam and Surveillance Station apps allows users to manage the camera without needing additional device licenses. The camera also supports MicroSD storage for local failover recording and includes regular firmware updates for enhanced security.
The CC400W is available now through Synology partners and resellers. More details can be found at synology.com
