George Saad, Country Manager ANZ, SanDisk Corporation said

Android devices offer users amazing features including high-resolution photography and 4K Ultra HD video recording, which quickly fill large amounts of mobile memory, and we know our customers are looking for quick ways to access and transfer these types of files. In an effort to continue to improve our customer experience, we incorporated feedback from our existing SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive to build an even sleeker, faster and more convenient solution for users on the go.

SanDisk is not only promoting their new drive, they’re also showing off their Memory Zone app which is available now on Google Play and will let you :

Organize files in your phone’s internal and external memory, so you can move, view, copy, or back up your files. Listen to more music, share more videos and photos, and watch HD movies—without worrying about filling up your phone’s internal memory.

The drives are available now from SanDisk authorised resellers around Australia. We’ll be grabbing one shortly to take if for a test spin, so keep an eye out for that.

Now all they need to do is bring out 128Gb and 256Gb versions of it, to compliment their 128Gb and 200Gb SanDisk Ultra microSD cards.

Review unit incoming from SanDisk, but anywhere that sells SanDisk Drives – Officeworks, DSE, JB etc – should have them, or have them in-stock shortly.
