Juno Cho, LG Electronics and Mobile Communications Company president said of the LG Action CAM

We are committed to expanding the LG Playground ecosystem with both modules and standalone accessories and Action CAMLTE is one of many more that we plan to announce this year. Action CAMLTE is an example of the kind of innovation we will be bringing to market, devices that offer features unavailable in other competing products.

More details, such as price – and more specs – will be available closer to launch. At this stage, the two big guns in this game, GoPro and Sony are the well priced across their range, so LG will have a big job to beat them at their own game. We’re looking forward to seeing what LG can do here.
