We’ve seen a number of desktop charging stations at Ausdroid starting with the Alldock and Fishbone. Both had their own strengths and weaknesses, on the surface LYNQ have learned from this and delivered a next level charging station; a 6-in-1 USB charging hub, with USB C compatibility, Qi Wireless charger and Bluetooth speaker for calls and music.

Compared to others on the market, the LYNQ is designed to be a part of your workflow. This includes the mentioned Bluetooth speaker for calls and music with volume and track controls, multiple USB3 ports and USB Type C input. What this means for users is that you can incorporate the LYNQ into your workflow for not only charging your devices but cable control, connection of data device and charging.

It’s already making serious inroads on the Kickstarter goal of US$50,000 so looking quite likely to go ahead. If it’s something that interests you, head on over and back it now.

Why of all devices, are they using an iPhone as an example. A phone without Qi??..

Cos they say “Team iPhone? No worries. With a Qi wireless receiver (sold separately), you can add the Qi wireless charging feature to your iPhone”.
