I hate chromecast, last night internet was down so thought i’d plex/cast movie. Nope, no-can-do without internet available to the chromecast. Stupid topology, and I’m sure the nexus player isn’t going to be different.
All these Chromecast deals… makes me wonder if a Nexus Player launch in Australia is eminent…
