It’s been a while since we’ve seen a deal on Chromecast, but with Netflix entering the Australian market, it’s a great time to grab one.
Harvey Norman will be offering the Chromecast for just $38 from tomorrow, as part of their One Day Sale. The $11 discount from the usual $49 price tag is pretty decent, but there’s an option to save a further $5. Harvey Norman want you to sign up to their newsletter, which will deliver specials and news regularly to your email account and for signing up, they’ll give you a $5 voucher.
The deal has been posted on OzBargain, where the OP has advised that if you want the deal you should probably activate the voucher now, to avoid a rush tomorrow. The code for $5 off is valid for 100 hours apparently so that should see you getting a Chromecast for just $33.
If you haven’t grabbed a Chromecast yet, you should, they’re great and with Netflix, Stan, Quickflix and even Presto now supporting Chromecast, as well as offering a month of free service to try out their service, your video streaming could reach addictive levels by the end of the weekend.
