Chromecast - Google
Google’s Chromecast goes from strenth to strength with more and more software support being added all the time. If you’re in the market for a Chromecast dongle, then this is the weekend to grab one, with Dick Smith sending out emails to their customers offering a Chromecast for ‘Mates Rates’ at just $37, that’s $12 off the normal RRP of $49, or if you’re closer to a Harvey Norman, you can grab one for just $38 without any rigmorale.

The ’email’ which you’ll apparently have to show to the staff at your local DSE store is linked to a graphic on their website, which you can find here:

The Harvey Norman deal however is a little easier to get a hold of, with the price simply set at $38 on their website, allowing you to order one to your door for an additional $5.95 on top, or arrange Click and Collect in-store with a handy store stock level checker on the product page.

The Chromecast is one of your best options for streaming video with cross platform support for Android, iOS, Windows, Mac and even Linux. There’s a wide range of apps with Chromecast support with more being added all the time. Head over to the Chromecast apps page to see some of the more notable ones on offer.

Local HN was sold-out, went into DSE today and they refuse to price match, The Good Guys however, no hassles they even mentioned the price match before we could. Grabbed the last 2. The Good Guys is great like that.
