Almost 12 months to the day since they announced the watch, Lenovo is finally selling the Moto 360 Sport through their Australian online store.

The watch appeared on retailer Harvey Normans website last week, however they quickly changed the ‘Available Now’ to ‘Pre-Order’. This morning however, you can head to the Motorola Australia and follow the ‘Buy Now’ links to choose from the Moto Online store – it looks like Harvey Norman is still only accepting pre-orders but that will likely change soon.

The Moto 360 Sport is available in three colour options: Black, White or Flame Orange for $449, coming with a heart rate monitor, IP67 water resistance, GPS and of course – Android Wear.

The Moto Online store is run in the back end by distributor Ingram Micro out of Sydney, while obviously if you choose Harvey Norman you can click and collect in your nearest store or have them deliver it to your door.

Duncan seemed to like the watch when he reviewed it earlier this year and it’s one of a limited few sports focused Android Wear watches on the market.

The Moto 360 Sport brings the total number of devices available from the Moto Online store to four, with the Moto 360 Gen 2, Moto G3 and Moto G4 Plus also available. At this stage, the lack of accessories available through their store is a major disappointment but hopefully that is remedied soon.

If you’ve been waiting for the Moto 360 Sport, then now’s your chance head to the Motorola Australia website and follow the links to buy it from your retailer of choice.

They are just about to announce Moto gen 3 watches. Seriously, does Motorola know we have the internet in Australia? We see these releases and we want them when they come out. Not one year later.

Well my original 360 after 18 months now turns off randomly and won’t restart. Once a month on average it suddenly re-pairs to the phone with a new ID and drops connection with the phone often.
Having a watch that turns off with 70% power and will not start again until on the charger is not good.
    Not buying another moto.

Same here, mines nearly 2 years old, and I fired it up the other day – after it sitting for 2 months not being used. It took me 5 attempts at factory resetting it before it actually wiped the memory and I was able to re-pair it again with a new phone, and then it randomly shuts off at weird intervals like you say, 70% but also ~90%, ~50% and will not turn back on till it’s docked in the charger. It’s weird and very annoying. I’m betting the software wasn’t fully tested before the last update and now it… Read more ยป
