Google has today released their monthly security report, with April’s updated images and fixes containing the fixes available for both Pixel and Nexus devices.

The monthly security update is again split into two, with a 1st of April patch and 5th of April patch. The 1st of April patch contains a single Critical, six High and five moderate Common Vulnerability and Exposures IDs (CVE), while the April 5th patch contains seven Critical, 26 High and 14 moderate CVEs – as well as one tacked on Critical CVE for vulnerabilities in Qualcomm components.

The Google devices Images and OTA files page has been updated with images and files for most supported Nexus and Pixel devices, though an OTA will be pushed to these same supported devices in the next few days.:

Pixel:

  • Pixel: N2G47E/N2G47J(Deutsche Telekom)
  • Pixel XL: N2G47E/N2G47J(Deutsche Telekom)

That’s it for another month, Google reports that they have had no reports of active customer exploitation or abuse of these newly reported issues, so get patched and all should be well.
