Google AdSense
If you use Google AdSense on your site, then the AdSense Android App is a great way to keep track of your earnings. If you have it installed, the icon has taken on a strange affectation after the latest release, it appears that Google has accidentally left the dogfood tag on the app.

Dogfooding refers to the practice of testing out your product internally on staff before releasing to the product. In this case, the update (version 2.1.1302) has left a pawprint on the logo to indicate the dogfood nature of the app.

There doesn’t seem to be much different in this release. The What’s New section merely listing :

v2.1
– Minor layout adjustments and bug fixes
– Stability improvements

It’s probably not going to last, with Google generally quite quick to update apps which have previously been released. Till then, if you want to see the app, download it now, but you’ll need an AdSense account to actually use it.

Hah I was wondering what the paw print was for!
