Google has always loved serving up fun, interesting things in search. They launched ‘Fun Facts’ as a search for random topics back in September 2015, but this week the launched a more specific way to get interesting facts, and it’s all about living things.

Starting this week you can ask Google to search for fun facts about living things – plants, animals, fruits and veggies – and Google will serve up a fun fact for you. Google Product Maanger Satyajeet Salgar says there’s multiple search results if you refresh the search page, while the Google blog shows results from one source, we seem to be getting them from another here in Australia, but still, it’s pretty neat.

There’s a few interesting facts you can check out when searching so throw a few queries into Google Search and see what you can come up with.
