High end audio brand Bang & Olufsen has relaunched in Australia in conjunction with new partner MJ Invest Australia (MJ Group), after parting ways with it’s previous distributor.

For readers not familiar with B&O, they make premium priced speakers that could pass as artworks borrowed from the Museum of Contemporary Art or stage props from a futuristic science fiction movie scene.

Fans of B&O may have been alarmed when some of it’s Australian stores closed recently, this was related to the change in distributor not a withdrawal from our country.

For the moment Bang & Olufsen’s flagship Australian showroom is located on Level 5 of Westfield Bondi Junction. Additional stores will be opened later this year.

As part of the relaunch, Bang & Olufsen’s latest products – the Beosound Edge and limited-edition Anniversary Bronze Collection, have been unveiled for the first time in Australia.

In good news for Google Assistant fans, a B&O Spokesperson said their upcoming smart speakers would likely be integrated with Google Assistant, Chromecast built-in and Apple Airplay 2.
