Owners of the Fetch Mighty and Fetch Mini have been hearing rumours for a while of some channels being lost from their Fetch subscription soon and some apps added.

Sensing this frustration the Fetch social media team just released the following information on their Facebook page:

Ten All Access app

This app is scheduled be added to most Fetch subscribers boxes in a few days on December 10th 2019.

That will give Ten All Access subscribers access to full seasons of shows like 90210, NCIS, Why Women Kill, The Good Wife, The Good Fight, Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, Survivor and many more on demand and ad free, for $9.99 per month.

Amazon Prime Video app

Fetch say they are well progressed with Amazon on the development, and if all goes to plan it should launch in April 2020 on the Mighty. It will take a bit longer on the Mini box as it has less RAM then the Mighty, so it’s a bit trickier.

Disney+ app

Fetch say they have a great relationship with Disney and it is absolutely their intention to add D+ as soon as they can. Disney are doing a global roll out and have focused their development resources on integration with the global platforms first, which is why only global brands have the app. No Australian owned platform has launched Disney +. Until then Fetch have two Disney Channels in the Kids Pack, and two Nat Geo channels in the Knowledge Pack — plus lots of Disney movies to rent in the store.

Removal of Syfy, 13th Street and Style on December 31 2019

These channels are owned by NBCU, and when Foxtel decided to remove them it impacted Fetch. The cost of running the channels remains the same for NBCU, so without the payments from Foxtel it’s not viable to run the channels only for Fetch. Channel loss and gain over time is a reality as content partners re-assess their portfolio for the Australian market.

Fetch say they can’t reveal details of new channels coming until they’ve finalised the channel agreements but they will have some more good news soon.
