If you’re on Team Alexa in the Smart Assistant battle, then you should take notice of the Echo Show 8. Its the latest and greatest smart device from Amazon and it’s currently available to pre-order… cheap!
JB Hi-Fi has the Echo Show 8 for $114.50 which is the same price Amazon is selling them for direct. Being one for bricks and mortar stores – as well as having a good relationship with my local store – I’m a fan of supporting the local business.
The Echo Show 8 is an 8-inch HD display which also sports 2 x 2.0″ speakers at 10W per channel. For a smart display that’s pretty solid, but a far cry from high quality audio. The camera has a built-in shutter to prevent unwanted intruders on your network invading on your privacy.
The Echo Show 8 is a great step forward for the Echo range of speakers and smart devices, and at this price, it’s a good buy.
