I have to admit, I’m a bit of a home Hi-Fi junky. Next to Android and IoT gear, I think it’s my next biggest guilty pleasure. TCL has had big turn-out at CES 2018, with a great line-up of Smart TVs being launched on stage.

Usually after major announcements at overseas trade shows, we’re left wondering what (if anything) might come to Australia; at least insofar as TCL TVs are concerned, you need wonder no more. TCL has confirmed that the 85″ Premium QLED Private Theatre X6 TV, QUHD Android TV C6 series and QUHD Android TV P6 series are all coming to Australia, as a starter.

Premium QLED Private Theatre X6 TV

The X6 is by far TCLs premier panel, with an outstanding 85″ Quantum Dot LED panel, featuring a 4K Dolby Vision HDR display and incorporating a Dolby Atmos powered 360 surround system by Harman Kardon this may be an “All in One” home theatre.

You may have guessed that all of this doesn’t come cheap  … and you’d be right, with the Australian price set at $19,999 with an March 2018 release date.

C6 Series QUHD Android TV

Stepping into the more traditional territory, the C6 series of TVs all feature Android TV, 4K HDR displays and a Harman Kardon audio system with an integrated Circular soundbar at the base of the screen.

The C6 will come in 49″, 55″ and 65″ models topping out at $3,299 AUD for the 65″ model, with a May 2018 release date.

P6 Series QUHD Android TV

At the start of the current Australian Line up will be the powerhouse of the TCL fleet the P6 series featuring Android TV and 4K HDR panel.

The P6 will come in 43″, 50″, 55″ and 65″ models topping out at $2,699 AUD for the 65″ model, releasing in April 2018.

TCL will hold an Australian press event to reveal all of the products that are coming to the Australian market, along with pricing and retail partners for their line-up in April this year. With TCL traditionally providing great value and now exceptional smart integrations I for one will be staying tuned for more from them.

The C6 looks stunning!! Everyone was impressed by TCLs range for TV’s at CES this year. Glad we’re going to be getting models that even the US won’t get.
