Yep, basically a waste of money at this point. Just took mine off and I’m shopping for another one with a cut out.

I understand they were probably tooled before the proximity sensor location was known, but still disappointing

    Phillip Molly Malone

I would contact the place you got it. Selling it as a Nexus 6p Shield suggests that it should allow for Proximity sensor. We should be entitled to a refund.
Don’t blame the store but they need to make it right.

Yeah I might try that later, ordered one from somewhere else in the meantime

    toast

Well, I just wanted to post that I got mine somewhere on Ausdroid….

    Dennis Bareis

This was on Windows XP, the root certificate wasn’t trusted, could have been a network glitch I suppose. Date/Time was OK.

FYI: Chrome doesn’t trust the shopping site

    Dan Rayner

Mine doesn’t show any trust issues

    Chris

Seems to be fine here, too, Dennis:

Maybe check your date/time on your PC. I this often when someone has the correct time on their clock but in the wrong time zone.

Any chance you’re using Chrome on a Samsung device? I have the same problem but only if it’s Samsung.

Bought the protector with my Nexus 6P without issue.

    Dan Rayner

They’re a good price. I wanted to read some reviews but can’t find any.

    Chris

I can put one on my Nexus 5X if you like and tell you how good it is?

    Dan Rayner

I feel like there may be some bias involved… πŸ˜›
But please do, I have a 6P on the way and prefer the feel of a glass protector

    Chris

For sure Dan. I’ll try the glass in the Nexus 5X but I’d imagine it will be good. The Aerios stuff has always been fitted well and good quality.

    Chris

Applied the screen protector when I got home from the warehouse. Wasn’t too hard – but I’ve done a couple before. Fit is near perfect on the 5X, to the point I can’t even see it. I think you’ll be happy with one for your 6P, Dan, or your money back from Ausdroid.

    Mr.Blank

How well would this cooperate with cases where there is a lip over the edge of the phone. Might get one for my new 6p πŸ™‚
