Australia gets shafted again. There is a 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM model of this. For $300 I want more than a paltry 2GB of RAM. Not running Lollipop either. Fail. The Oppo F1 is cheaper with better hardware.

This phone is not in the Android Device Comparison database. It would be good once an article like this with all the spec is published it is also entered into the database so comparisons can be made.

Ausdroid is cool but the best comparison websites are phonemore, devicespecifications, gsmarena and phonearena

As pointed out above, this model is not on any of those sites.

Got a full time job mate, getting this out is a big ask. I`m in the process of doing it, just waiting on additional information from HTC as this is not the variant you’ll find on GSM Arena etc.

Aren’t you the editor-in-chief? why is it a big ask for you to publish an article?

I was talking about updating the spec database. It’s often a big job to maintain a full time job and post on Ausdroid – we aren’t paid for our work here, so it often takes a back seat to what pays the bills. If you’d like to contribute to our Patreon campaign so we could hire on staff we could certainly respond to things like this immediately.

Sorry then, misunderstood your comment, thought it was referring to publishing this article. I actually already do contribute to the patreon campaign at $10 a month.

We appreciate your patronage. Still waiting on full specs of this particular model Desire and it will be added.

Not bad
