If you’re anything like us you’ve accumulated a lot of Micro USB cables over the years. Then Boom, a new Type-C connector is released and these Micro-USB cables are now useless. $100’s of dollars of cables, wasted. Well.. perhaps not quite. If you’ve just upgraded to the latest phone or tablet with a Type-C connector, don’t rush out and bin those old Micro-USB cables just yet.

“Micro USB cables don’t fit in Type-C connectors, we’ve tried!” – We hear you.

Now they will with a Type-C to Micro-USB female adapter!

With the Tronsmart 2 pack of Type-C to micro USB adapters you can reuse your old Micro USB cables for charging and syncing your new Type-C phone. Built with the 56k ohm resistor, these cables are safe to use with your device and are Benson Approved (passes CheckR app test).

Make sure you use a good quality Micro USB cable to take full advantage of the fast charging up to 2.4A (you’re allowed to bin those crappy $1 servo Micro-USB cables though).

Available now in this handy 2pack from the Ausdroid Shop for only $22.95 including free shipping via economy post.

Limited stock is available in our Sydney Warehouse for immediate dispatch. If we run out, still place your order as Pre-orders will also be honoured at this price.

I bought some of these, probably not as good quality as yours, a while ago and they do the job well so they’re worth getting.

Definitely an alternative, we sell alot of those as well. These are just for people who don’t want to waste their old Micro USB Cables. More cost effective when you consider you have heaps of Micro USB Cables from your old Phones already.

Agreed, they are expensive but handy if you need both connections.
I have a lightning adapter so I don’t have to carry another cable for my girlfriend’s phone.
