Pokémon Go is a load of fun, but the app with its reliance on location services can be a bit of a battery suck – even with battery saver mode turned on. So, if you’re really wanting to get into the whole theme of the thing you can grab this Poke Ball shaped power bank with built-in LED lights now for $44.95 from the Ausdroid Shop.
The power bank includes a 6,000mAh battery pack inside the nearly 9cm in diameter ball, which has a smooth gloss ABS plastic surface. It has a microUSB input to charge it and a single 2.1A/5V output port to charge your devices and a power on/off switch. The pack also includes a short, white Micro USB to USB charging cable.
Serious Pokémon Go players are seemingly playing a lot at night so the 4x LED indicators with alternating colours for different battery levels will come in handy.
If you’re interested in grabbing one, head over to the Ausdroid Shop and check it out. If you’re in Sydney though you can head to the Gadgets4Geeks showroom or to OzComicCon this weekend at stand 2328 to check it out.
