Data hungry users can get a decent deal this week at Coles with the Telstra 4GX Wi-Fi hotspot selling for just $29.50, that’s 50% off the usual $59 RRP, with 3GB of data included.

The ZTE made hotspot is a great little device, allowing you to connect up to 10 wi-fi enabled devices while you’re on the go. The battery in the hotspot will last up to 10 hours making for the perfect tool to take away with you next time you travel – or just to use around the house. It’s using the Telstra 4GX network which allows up to 150Mbps and should give some great coverage even in regional areas as well.

You’re limited to 12 devices if you want to buy them in bulk from Coles, but for the average joe just one will do.

I`m about to head off camping for a weekend – the press days for Mobile World Congress actually – so this will be in my swag to check in on what’s been happening throughout the conference.

How long until this 3GB data expires?

    Prepagan

Almost certainly 30 days, although that is based on information from other retailers that includes advising that the device comes with only 2GB of included data.

Thought I can have it for emergency. Won’t need it if it’s 30 days only. My mobile plan gives me 15GB a month
