We’re getting down to the wire for companies to get your Christmas dollar, Google had a stab today and was immediately bettered by JB Hifi, now it’s Samsung’s turn with their launch of a Gift Finder and sale on their Australian website.
The Gift Finder takes you through a brief quiz in which you give a rating out of 5 stars as to how they rate in five categories, co-incidentally those categories are the ones in which they have devices listed for sale. The categories are Tech Savvy, Selfie/Photo Lover, Active, Enjoys Entertainment and Trendy. Once you’ve made your choices you’ll get a list of compatible gifts.
Luckily if you’re not interested in using the Gift Finder tool you can skip straight to the bargains which are listed in the categories above. There’s some decent savings across their range, though it always pays to shop around at this time of year as retailers can offer some good prices if you negotiate in-store. Examples include the Galaxy Note 8 reduced from $1,499 to $1,399, the Galaxy S8 also drops from $1,099 to $999 or if you want a more novel tech gift a Gear VR is reduced by $20 from $199 to $179 (but it’s out of stock), or the Gear 360 (360° camera) is reduced to $319 as well.
There’s not just phones and accessories either, there’s also speakers, Galaxy Book or Tab S3 tablets, Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear Sport wearables and much more.
