After launching video chat in 2015, Facebook has improved on the functionality over the last few years and today they’re upping the game with improved Group Video Chat in Messenger.
Video Chat in Messenger is hugely popular across the service, with over 17 billion video chats being made last year – twice that made in the previous 12 months and Facebook sees the trend increasing this year.
The improved group video chat will enhance the experience for users who want to chat with multiple people at one time, with a new “add person” icon appearing to allow you to add another contact – or contacts – to your 1:1 video chat.
Messenger in Australia is big, with over a billion active users world-wide, and more than 13 million Australians connecting to the platform every month – that’s more than half of Australia’s population, the time for video chats is now.
If you want to check out the improved group video chat in Messenger, ensure you have the latest updates installed from Google Play.
