Boost Mobile has today announced a new 5 year partnership deal with Telstra, which will see the Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) continue to offer their customers access to the Telstra 4G network.
Founded in Australia in 2000, Boost has been focused on the youth market in Australia, offering their customers a range of pre-paid plans which use the Telstra 4G network that offer a goodly amount of call, text and data inclusions, with the benefits of no lock in contracts. Like Telstra, Boost also offers their customers data-free music streaming of Apple Music across all their pre-paid plans.
The new deal comes of the back of a previous 5-year deal between Telstra and Boost Mobile. Peter Adderton, Boost Mobile Founder and Director said of the deal
Today’s announcement cements Boost Mobile as a core pillar of Telstra’s multi-brand strategy, and is recognition of our position as a brand that is immersed in youth culture. We know what our customers want, because we are part of their community and have been for many years now, and are dedicated to giving them the connectivity they need for their everyday adventures.
Boost offers a decent range of plans, but recently launched the new Anytime Plus pre-paid plans. The Anytime Plus plans offer bonus data on their plans, including an extra 8GB of data on the $50 Boost Anytime Plus recharge which is now 20GB with every recharge.
You can find Boost SIMs and recharges at most Australian retailers including AusPost, BigW, Coles, JB HiFi, Kmart, Target, 7 Eleven and Woolworths.
I was going to churn over to them from Telstra but they don’t offer a data bank like my $30 Telstra Pre Paid. One month roll-over is useless.
yeah like it is hard to know what the consumer wants in this industry.
