Makers of the ultra-cool Droid Inventor kit, littleBits, who released R2D2 based kit last year for the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi are back but this year they’re taking on the Marvel universe with their Avengers Hero Inventor Kit.

The kit allows kids to build their own Tony Stark inspired hero gauntlet, which can be customised using littleBits electronic blocks. The included blocks and parts, which of course includes stickers for your kids to personalise the look of the gauntlet comes with a customisable LED matrix light and sensors which can be programmed and interacted with through a simple process in the mobile app for Android (and iOS) devices with step-by-step instructions engaging them and encouraging them to explore coding.

The kit includes authentic sound effects from all their favourite Marvel Avengers including Iron Man, The Hulk, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Shuri. The effects are used in 18 in-app ‘Hero Training’ activities they can take part in once they’ve finished.

Ayah Bdeir, founder and CEO of littleBits said

From creating circuits to introducing superpowers like stealth mode, rainbow control, power boost, and more, the Avengers Hero Inventor Kit teaches kids about STEAM in a fun, accessible way. We’re thrilled to extend our relationship with Disney to now work with the amazing team at Marvel to give kids the skills –and the confidence –to change the world.

The Avengers Hero Inventor Kit will be available from August 24 at JB Hi-Fi and Australian Geographic for $249.99.
