The HTC One M9+ is launching on the 8th of April in Beijing, but it seems that the phone is going to be shown off in all its glory before the official unveiling. Leaker @onleaks, who has a fairly solid reputation when it comes to HTC leaks, has shown off the phone in a new colour variant, and as a bonus added another render in a more familiar colour option.
As you can see above, it appears that HTC will release the HTC One M9+ (Codename: Hima_Ultra) in a new colour variant: Gunmetal Grey with Gold highlights. The render shows off the phone which looks to be almost identical to the One M9, though it does have that front button splitting the bottom speaker on the phone, which is rumoured to be a fingerprint sensor.
The HTC One M9+ will also apparently come in a more familiar Gold on Silver colour option which we’ve seen previously in the recently released HTC One M9.
The first render shown off clearly shows that Duo-camera setup on the rear, which is apparently going to be a 20MP camera with a 2.1MP secondary camera mounted above. The phone will also be getting a front-facing 13MP camera which will be mounted atop a 5.2″ QHD resolution display. Under the hood will be a Mediatek Octa-core MT6795 64Bit processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage – the phone will of course be running Android 5.0 with Sense Seven overlayed over the top.
We’ll know more about availability once the launch is under way, but for now – Gunmetal Grey with Gold highlights: Hot or Not?
