Anker SOLIX has officially launched its flagship SOLIX X1 AC-Coupled energy storage system in Australia. Available from today, the SOLIX X1 offers an affordable and sustainable energy solution for homes and businesses, designed to help Australians manage their energy use more effectively.
This launch comes just in time for the NSW Government’s solar battery rebate scheme, set to roll out from November 1st.
The SOLIX X1, first showcased at the All Energy Australia Expo, has undergone extensive testing to meet Australian standards. It has earned the CEC certification and a C5-M anti-corrosion rating, which ensures durability in Australia’s challenging climate. With a compact design—only 15cm deep—the system can be easily installed and suits both residential and commercial applications, offering power outputs ranging from 3kW to 36kW and energy capacities from 5kWh to 180kWh.
The system provides peace of mind during power outages by keeping buildings fully powered. Its large storage capacity also enables users to go off-grid during peak times to avoid high energy costs. Additionally, the SOLIX X1 is built to handle Australia’s extreme weather, backed by a 10-year warranty.
Gaspar Xie, General Manager of Anker Innovations ANZ, noted the perfect timing of the product’s release. “With the NSW Government’s rebate scheme on the horizon and the increasing demand for energy independence, the SOLIX X1 is poised to help more Australians take control of their energy use,” he said.
The SOLIX X1 is uniquely built for the Australian market, boasting superior corrosion resistance, thanks to its high-quality materials and a specialised powder coating process. It can be confidently installed in coastal and offshore areas, where other systems may struggle.
Anker, already a trusted name in Australia for portable power solutions, is expanding its presence in the renewable energy market. Xie added that the SOLIX X1 is a “natural evolution” of the brand, bringing Anker’s expertise to households and businesses seeking clean energy solutions.
In addition to the X1, Anker unveiled several other SOLIX products at the AEA Expo, including the SOLIX F3800 power station, the SOLIX C800 Plus portable station, and the SOLIX PS200 portable solar panel. These products further enhance Anker’s ecosystem of adaptable renewable energy solutions.
