Huawei’s build up to the launch of the P9 is ramping up, the launch will take place in London on the 6th of April. Huawei has now launched a landing page for people interested in the launch, which includes a teaser video, pictures and of course a countdown timer.
The landing page uses the #oo hashtag which appears to be alluding to the dual-lens rear camera on the phone. The dual-lens camera setup, which is rumoured to be dual-12MP sensors, is also shown, although not in great detail, in a series of teaser pictures on the site. The other pictures on the site include a close up of the chamfered edges, as well as what appears to be a squared off fingerprint sensor, which previous leaks have shown is located on the back of the phone.
The specs on the P9 are rumoured to include a Kirin 950 SoC with Mali-T880 GPU, 32GB of on-board storage and 3GB of RAM. Battery wise, a rumoured 3,900mAh battery should see you easily through a day of use.
Huawei has also included a teaser video on the site, it doesn’t show much but after Huawei announce the details on April 6th, I`m sure it will make a lot more sense. Check it out.
