LG Australia has today announced their latest smartphone, the K10 has now available in Australia for $299.
The phone will go on-sale in JB HiFi and Big W stores across Australia from today, bringing with it a stylish design and higher end camera experience without the high-end price tag. The phone has a ‘glossy pebble design’ which includes a 2.5D arc glass on the 5.3″ HD In-cell Touch display on the front of the phone and a intricately woven look back cover offering ‘optimal grip’ on the rear of the phone.
Gino Casha, General Manager of Mobile Communications for LG Australia and New Zealand said of the K10
It is important for LG to cater to everyone. The LG K10 was designed specifically for consumers that want some of the premium and advanced features without the premium price tag. We think the LG K10 has a real place in the market for this reason.
The rear camera on the K10 is a 13MP sensor which pairs with a 5MP sensor on the front of the phone. The LG camera software experience is also included in the K10 offering LG Gesture Shot and LG Gesture Interval Shot to customers. The phone has a great Virtual Flash feature for taking selfies, turning the LCD bright white as the photo is taken to illuminate your face in darker conditions.

If you’re interested in the LG K Series, here’s the K Series video from their launch at CES earlier this year.
The handset is only available in one colour, Indigo Blue and will be available in stores from today. You may want to give it time for stock to arrive over the coming week or so.
Is the rear cover removable to replace the battery?
Ah nice, buttons at the back where they should be on LG phones. Does anyone know if this has Qi ability?
Didnt mention it anywhere on spec sheets I read.
Don’t think so.
Wow for once we didn’t get the crap end of the stick.
Our is the 2GB RAM model, most of them are 1.5GB
I was in Doha earlier this year when my old phone died on me. So I bought it as a temp.
I still use it. Good value for the price. Wish it had more zip battery and screen brightness wise but this is only a budget phone.
Does anyone know what version of this phone is releasing in Australia?
I know that at least three exist. One for US, one for EU and one for Asia. They all had minor differences like different RAM/Storage Capacity configurations. Mine doesn’t have NFC but they released a version elsewhere that have it.
Hi Ammad, I put the model # in above the spec table: K430DSY
