After announcing the Zenfone 3 Zoom at CES earlier this year, Asus has apparently delayed the release of the phone to revamp the specs.

The phone which was announced with a 5.5″ display, Snapdragon 625 processor and Dual 12MP cameras, was supposed to be launching this month. However, according to a reply on their Facebook page the launch of the phone has now been delayed so they can rework it with better specs. The post:

Very little was known about the internals of the phone when it was announced anyway, so what better specs they intend to put in is unclear.

We’ve never seen the Zenfone series officially ranged here in Australia however their decent specs and great pricing make them ideal for the grey import market. We’ll be watching what happens on this front and hopefully get a better idea of what they intend when the phone officially arrives in the market.
