Virgin Mobile has found that 2 out of 3 Australians think stocking fillers are a waste of space – and we here at Ausdroid agree with them. Virgin Mobile found that the top 5 worst gifts to receive according to their research include
- Novelty gifts (57%)
- Smelly items (49%)
- Stuffed toys (47%)
- Trinkets (44%)
- A ‘gift with purchase’ gift (44%)
Virgin Mobile is letting their Post Paid customers gift data, and unlike those gifts above additional data is a valuable, useful gift as well with almost 8 in 10 Australians dramatically increasing their data use over the Christmas period.
For Virgin Mobile post paid customers, gifting data is easy. Simply login to ‘My Account’ online, or download the My Account Post Paid app from Google Play. Then go to ‘Data Gifting’, choose how much data to give and who you want to give it to. Once you send the data, the person receiving it will get an SMS to know about your gift.
