At an event in China this past weekend, Chinese OEM Meizu has unveiled three new handsets with the Meizu 15 name, adding a Lite and Plus version to cover a range of spec and price points.
The Meizu 15 and 15 Lite offer the same size 5.46″ display, but the Meizu 15 goes for AMOLED, while the Lite gets an IPS LCD – none of them have a notch. Under the hood there are differences across the range with both Samsung Exynos and Qualcomm Snapdragon processors used, with RAM ranging from 4GB on the Meizu Lite, to 6GB on the 15 and 15 Plus.
The Meizu 15 and Meizu 15 Plus offer dual-cameras on the rear while the Meizu 15 Lite offers a single sensor on the rear. Meizu has, like many other manufacturers this year introduced AI photography with the Meizu phones.

All three handsets Meizu’s Android build called Flyme 7. Flyme 7 is based on Nougat, and there’s no word about updates.
In terms of availability, they’re remaining in China so you’ll have to look at importing these phones if they strike your fancy. The Meizu 15 Lite will be priced at ¥1,699 rmb ($352AUD), while the Meizu 15 will cost ¥2,499 rmb ($518AUD) and the Meizu 15 Plus will cost ¥2,999 rmb ($622AUD) in 64GB, while the 128GB model will cost ¥3,300 rmb ($684AUD).
