We’ve seen the trend over the last couple of years that manufacturers just leak like a sieve. There’s no change in 2020, with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series of phones leaking at a steady rate for several weeks now. We’ve seen renders, specs. cases and even pricing but now we get to see the phones in the flesh.

Slashleaks has obtained not one but two images capturing the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and the S20 Ultra prior to the announcements next week:

We’ve known a bit about the Samsung S20 Ultra for a few weeks now, but this is the first decent image we’ve seen. It doesn’t reveal anything we didn’t already know, but does show the multi-camera array with 100x zoom.

Similar to the S20 Ultra images, we haven’t had any further light shed on the S20 or S20+. We get a good look at the cameras and a clear view of the size difference between the two devices.

In an interesting twist, the other leak that has occurred tonight is from Samsung itself. On several of the company’s international sites – so far France and Swiss sites confirmed, although the Swiss appear to have been removed – Samsung has added the leather case for the Galaxy Z Flip.

Personally I find the slow but very steady rate of leaks too convenient, controlled if you will. This makes me wonder if it’s a marketing strategy from the major manufacturers, what do you think?

Definitely a part of marketing campaign, unlike Googles Pixel 4 leaks which we’re clearly a “backyard job”
