The Asus Zenfone 9 has been out for a couple of months now and it’s an interesting proposition. The specs really are up there with a good camera, solid battery life and excellent performance as Alex said in his review:
All in all, I have to say there is a lot to like with the Zenfone 9 and if you’re after a device that offers what a flagship massive smartphone does in a much more compact design, then the Zenfone 9 could be what you are looking for.
The biggest issue at the time was that we didn’t know the pricing or availability for Australian shores. Well, we do now, and it’s pretty reasonable for the two SKUs that are coming to Australia:
- 8GB RAM /128GB Storage – RRP – $1,199 AUD
- 8GB RAM /256GB Storage – RRP – $1,299 AUD
Regarding availability, it’s coming to JB Hi-Fi (exclusively, as far as we know when publishing this article) from Thursday, October 6th. If you’re looking for a really good phone at a great price, it may well be worth waiting to see what Made by Google has to offer this week though…
Jeez that is pretty pricey considering the camera is nothing special. I think it should be $800 AUD max.
