Samsung is already part of the leading pack of manufacturers adopting 5G. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is a great device, though it is rather difficult to justify the cost.
It seems Samsung will be adding some speed (and probably higher cost) to the upcoming version – a 5G model.
Spotted by 9to5Google, the front page of the Korean Samsung page shows a 5G Tab S6 model. This is alongside the Tab S6 and S5 that we’ve already seen on Aussie soil.
This makes the the Tab S6 5G the first commercially available 5G tablet in the Android ecosystem.
I’m still personally unconvinced at the need for 5G speeds to be in our hands as users. We’re very lucky with the quality of our 4G networks, but as core infrastructure, I see 5G as a future must have.
