Yatango Mobile has recently launched its 4G service for its customers using the Optus 4G network, and while existing customers have been switching over to the new network technology to enjoy faster speeds, Yatango wants you to be able to try it out for yourselves.
If you’ve got a compatible 4G handset, and you’re thinking about a new carrier, you can now take a trial of Yatango’s 4G service for a month, for free, with no obligation to continue after the month if you’re not satisfied.
Included in the free trial is:
- 600 minutes of phone calls
- 600 SMS
- 1GB of data
To take up the offer of a free trial, head over to the Yatango website and create your account, and you’ll receive your SIM in 3-5 days ready to go. After the 30 day free trial, if you decide to stay, you can take advantage of the features offered by Yatango, such as customising your own plan to give you only what you need (to save a bit of money), no lock in contracts, access to Optus’ 3G and 4G networks, and unlimited social media usage.
For those interested in a bit more detail about how Yatango works as a carrier, we did a review of their service in the earlier days (albeit, before 4G was enabled) which you might find useful.
Was going to get a SIM to give it a try, then realised it costs $10 if you don’t port your number in. Not going to port my number just to see what coverage is like around me, and don’t care enough to spend $10, so they lose me as a potential customer.
Yeah I am in the same boat. I was going to give it a try because my contract is finally up and looking for a cheap replacement. But the $10 just to try it out kind of snuffed that out pretty quickly. Maybe I have different definition of a free trial.
I wouldn’t try it if they paid me!!
Optus network lol
Was thinking of switching to Yatango or Vaya from Aldi Mobile and this came at just the right time 🙂 Lets see if they are any good for me.
