So we just happened to be browsing the internetz when we stumbled upon an interesting YouTube video that is currently listed as private — meaning you can only view it if you have the URL. What is it? It’s a walk-through of Sony Ericsson’s upcoming Xperia Arc which we recently saw as ‘coming soon’ in Allphones’ catalogue. The video was uploaded by none other than Vodafone Australia, so putting two and two together tells us that this baby is headed to Vodafone in the near future. The video gives you a quick viewing of the 4.2″ Bravia powered display as well as outputting media via HDMI.
Vodafone hasn’t yet made a whisper about this device, but after this little outing, we think they might have something to say. You can check out the video, in all its 1080p glory, after the break.
Still a smick lookin phone tho.
Nice. Might even be enough to convince me to give up my HTC Desire … well … maybe. Thanks for the video though.
Did the vodafone/SE person just say “it is running the 2.3 Gingerbread platform by Google?”
I think he may have, yes.
You can easily tell from the interface that it’s 2.3. Look at the green icons on the black notification bar. That’s gingerbread for sure unless SE actually themed 2.2 to look like 2.3 which I highly doubt.
Wow, that looked pretty laggy when the guy was just swiping through screens.
It certainly did. In true SE style.
It didn’t look very responsive 🙁
