I’ve been seriously waiting to get my hands on this phone since I heard about the micro-arc oxidisation process that HTC treat it to which turns the surface of the chasis into a ceramic. I don’t know really why but geez it sounds cool, anyway head on over to the Virgin Mobile Website to check it out.
Update :
We asked HTC to clarify which CPU was supplied in the HTC One S and they responded with :
The HTC One S’ available in Australia comprise of the 1.7GHz dual core processor
Well, that cleared that up then.
This looks weird
“1.7GHz Dual Core S4 Qualcomm CPU”
The clock speed seems like the clock speed HTC is clocking the One S with the old snapdragon S3 instead of the Snapdragon S4 which is usually clocked at 1.5GHz everywhere else.
The virgin website does not mention the CPU model.
It’s a mistake. It’s meant to read S3
Excellent pickup, I’ll double check with HTC and Virgin in the morning to clarify exactly which CPU they are using and update the post
