After the tip from Michael regarding the Nexus 7 Travel Cover at JB Hifi I started looking around and have been finding some more links at other places, not saying in-stock but very close :
Looks like EB Games has now got a Pre-Order page for the Nexus 7 Travel Covers on their website offering Light Grey, Teal and Pink with a price tag of $29.95 and a release date of 23/08/2012 and eligible for in-store pickup to avoid shipping costs.
MWave has also got the Nexus 7 Travel Covers on their website offering the Light Grey, Dark Grey, Pink and Teal for $29.00, they are also offering the 10W Power Adapter for $49 all the accessories are listed as in-stock with the supplier but not in-stock at MWave with Normal Dispatch: 1-3 working days.
Personal Digital are listing the Dark Grey cover on their website for $49.99!!! expected to be in stock on Wednesday 15 August, 2012.
Greenbox IT has a listing on their website for a few different accessories including the Teal, Pink, Light Grey and Dark Grey Travel Covers for $22.43 each and also the 10W Power Adapter for $24.51 unfortunately stock level is 0 for all the accessories.
Techbuy list the Teal, Pink, Light Grey and Dark Grey Travel Covers on their website for $24.20 with shipping same day.
ITech lists the 10W Power Adapter and the Light Grey and Dark Grey covers on their website the Power Adapter is listed at $26.00 and the cases $24.00 each without freight, stock levels are listed as ‘ask’.

So that’s it so far, no listing on the JB Hifi, GoodGuys, Harvey Norman, Dick Smith or any other major retailers, I’m not sure which will have them in stock, but good idea to call around at least JB Hifi’s and see if you can find one and if you do find one, let us know in the comments.
I picked up a rugged Smiggle case which fits the nexus 7 like a glove. Accidental drops are no worry with this case. It also has room to carry around a few accessories. ATM, I also use it to carry a Galaxy Nexus to use for 3G on the go.

I’ll probably end up getting a different case (with a stand) imported once I can decide on one I like.
I bought the dark grey cover from jb for $25 last week. The top ryde store in Sydney had 5 remaining. Hopefully there is more colours coming soon!
eb games website has currently listed the nexus smart covers in light grey, teal and pink colour for 30 bucks and release date for the cover is 23/08/12

I already bought a leather sleeve for mine off eBay for 5 dollars, Australian stores you snooze you lose.
I wonder why no one stocks either orange or blue?
BTW anyone know whether the official leather cover will be released here in Oz?
