These days, you just can’t launch a phone without first subjecting it to the lost in a bar test, and Wired is reporting that Google’s upcoming LG Nexus 4 passed with flying colours.
According to the report, the device – which pictures confirm to be the Nexus 4 – was left in the bar on September 18. After the phone remained unclaimed the following day, the bartender and a “tech savvy” friend noticed the Google logo and a “Not For Sale” sticker on the back, and contacted Google.
Google finally recovered its super-secret Nexus device, only to have the phone’s appearance, specs and software details leak widely over the Internet all through October.
The Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and new Nexus 7 models are expected to be announced at Google’s The Playground Is Open event on October 29 (early morning October 30, local time).
You do realise they did this on purpose for the publicity, right?
So… have you ordered yours yet? 😉 And if so… HINT HINT
Where the hell do these top line companies get their employees? A Buch of morons who are unable to keep possesion of an unreleased product. Hope they get shit canned
Not claimed or stolen? Certain failure
