There’s nothing worse than getting a scratch on the glass front (or rear) of your brand new Android device, but thanks to Corning’s Gorilla Glass, those incidents are becoming less and less common. Come CES next week, they’ll be showing off their third iteration of the successful glass which they say is 3 times more scratch resistant than Gorilla Glass 2.
There aren’t too many details available at the moment, so we’re left guessing about the specifics such as availability and overall thickness. Hopefully we’ll learn all about that next week — stay tuned!

It’s not so much scratches, it’s the cracks and shattering that matters.
