L3 Series II
LG has released the specs on the entry level Optimus L3 II phone that was announced just prior to Mobile World Congress. The low-end phone will be launching in Brazil this week before rolling out single and dual SIM models to South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa.

LG has done pretty well with the original L Series recently clocking up over 15 million sales. LG Australia noted that the original L Series launched them to the number two spot in pre-paid mobile phone sales locally, based on this they are confident that the L Series II can bring about the same sort of success.

The LG Optimus L3 II contains a very basic set of specifications with a relatively small screen, basic processor and low res camera however it is launching with Jelly Bean which is a bonus. LG Optimus L3 II Specs :

  • 3.2-inch IPS LCD screen with 320 x 240 pixels resolution
  • 1 GHz Qualcomm MSM7225AB CPU
  • 512MB RAM
  • 4 GB on-board storage with microSD Card slot
  • 3 MP rear-facing camera
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
  • 1,540 mAh battery
  • 102.6 x 61.1 x 11.9 mm dimensions (single SIM)
  • 102.9 x 61.3 x 11.9 mm dimensions (dual SIM)

Local release dates and pricing has so far not been released for the Optimus L3 II, however the original Optimus L3 was launched on Telstra in August last year for $99 so this sort of phone.
