Virgin Mobile has announced that they will be offering the 4G-enabled Sony Xperia SP through their website and in Virgin Mobile stores nationally from today. While the global version of the Sony Xperia SP comes in Black, White and Red, Virgin Mobile only list the Black model on their website.
The phone, which sits nicely in the Xperia range just below the Xperia Z, comes jam packed with specifications :

The Xperia SP is available from Virgin Mobile on a 24 Month contract on the Big Plan $39 with no handset repayments. The plan includes $450 of credit, 1GB of data and unlimited mobile calls and texts between Virgin Mobile customers in Australia. If you need more data, Virgin will happily customise your plan, offering data packs from $5 per month for an extra 500MB or 6GB for $30 for customers on the 24 month contracts as well as a range of options in between. If the $39 plan doesn’t suit they also have a range of plans available on their website.
The Virgin Mobile 4G Network is available in selected areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth, but they are continuing to expand their services. 3G Network availability is through the Optus 3G dual band network.
