A couple of weeks ago we reported that Plants vs Zombies 2 had been released to Android on the Chinese market. For those who didn’t speak Mandarin it was fairly difficult to understand the gameplay and have been eagerly awaiting it’s release onto the Google Play Store. Well, the wait is over. Today EA have released the game to the Google Play Store for those wanting to jump in and play the latest iteration of one of the most addictive games on the Play Store head on over to the Play Store and give it a go.
Having tried the Chinese version I think this PvZ followup adds a whole new dimension to the game and is a freemium game that seems to be done well without requiring many, if any, compulsory in-app purchases to finish. I was unable to complete the game in Chinese which I completely blame on my limited Mandarin.
In the words of EA:
The zombies are coming… back. It’s about time! The sequel to the hit action-strategy adventure brings the fun to tablets and touchscreens. Join Crazy Dave on a crazy adventure where you’ll meet, greet and defeat legions of zombies from the dawn of time to the end of days. Amass an army of powerful new plants, supercharge them with Plant Food and power up your defenses with amazing new ways to protect your brain. And that’s just the beginning! The future holds many mysteries… also zombies. Lots and lots of zombies.

I have a samsung galaxy note 3, can anyone tell me why I get that my device is not compatible with plants vs zombies 2? By the way, I live in Norway.
Works perfectly fine on my Note 3.
cannot be downloaded in your country. Thanks so much for nada
The game crashes everytime I start it on HTC One.
Works ok on my S3 4G but damn it is a power hog. I’ve never seen an app chew through the phones battery that fast before…
It does not work on my nexus 4. It crashed right away
It’s very buggy. I haven’t tried gameplay yet but the menus are bad. Text (name) input doesn’t work properly and attempting to sign into Google+ results in seizure inducing screen flashes.
