Samsung has promised to bring Android 4.3 to its Galaxy S III (GT-I9300), and true to their word, a pre-release version has been leaked.

Sammobile has tested this version and report that it’s quite stable, and although it uses the original launcher and widgets, the core user interface has been brought in line with the Galaxy S4 and Note 3.

Be aware that this is a test build, so a few bugs and glitches may be present, and it will wipe your phone so a backup is very advisable. The official version is expected to be rolled out before the end of November, though if you have a carrier bought handset expect the release to be delayed until the telco has performed their own compatibility testing.

Are you looking forward to Android 4.3 on the Galaxy S III? If you have  flashed this build – what do you think? Let us know in the comments!

If I tried to flash this build to my GT-I9300T variant, would it still work?

I am, very much so, looking forward to this update. As it will give my phone a new lease on life and hopefully increase the performance a little.
Although mine is the I9305T model, will this work with Telstra’s 4g?
