It seems that everyone loves Kickstarter, a lot of people go nuts over the projects, Android based projects such as Ouya, LIFX, Pebble and more have launched on Kickstarter and become phenomenons in their own right, but so far they’ve been overseas, but as of today, you can now launch projects on Kickstarter based in Australia.
The fact that the projects are based in Australia means that you won’t be paying the pesky overseas shipping charge that you’ve been used to. There are two main conditions for launching a project on Kickstarter according to their project signup page :

A project is something with a clear end, like making an album, a film, or a new game. A project will eventually be completed, and something will be produced as a result.Every project on Kickstarter must fit into one of our categories.
